The following radio options are managed over the air from the dealer portal. The configuration for these options will be used and/or updated each time a radio is switched on and connected to the update server.

  • Individual calls

  • Main channel

  • Menu Level

  • VPN

  • Emergency settings

  • GPS

  • Auto updates

After logging in to the dealer portal at https://pocentel.co.uk/   click on the ‘Manage’ radios button for the current server where the DN radio is provisioned, and then click the ‘pencil’ edit button to the right of the username/serial number. This will show the radio options page and the current configuration.

Individual Calls. true/false. Setting individual calls to false prevents a DN from initiating an individual (radio to radio) call. It does not stop the DN from receiving an individual call. Individual calling must be enabled in T.Commander (user settings/individual calls) to receive individual calls.

Main Channel. true/false. This option prevents the DN from accessing the main channel (Ch 0) without requiring server rules. Please check the default channel in T.Commander (user settings/group calls/default channel) does not conflict with this setting.

Menu Level. This option selects between three levels of feature access on the DN menu or disables the menu.

  • No Menus

  • Missed calls and information only

  • Short menus

  • Full menus

For HIRE radios we recommend ‘Missed calls and information only’. This also gives access to Language and the Wifi App

VPN. true/false. The VPN server helps to provide a seamless connection to the PoC server when switching between networks. This setting can be temporarily changed via the radio menu* until the radio is restarted. More information is available here. DN: VPN Server

Emergency settings. true/false. Button configuration and timers for Man Down and Lone Worker are set from the Advanced Emergency Settings page. Full details are available here. DN: Emergency Settings

GPS. true/false. This setting enables or disables GPS location tracking. If GPS location is not in use, switching this to false will give longer battery life between charges. This setting can be temporarily changed via the radio menu* until the radio is restarted.

Auto Updates. true/false. This setting enables automatic over the air (OTA) updates.
