Issue:

  • DX / DN Series radio PTT surround cracking.

Cause:

  • When using alcohol based sanitising products to clean the radios, we have identified very regular use dries out the older bezel plastic making it more fragile.

  • We immediately jumped on this issue as soon as it was identified and upgraded the bezel plastic on factory shipments from June 2022:

    DX build code M29 on
    DN build code M19 on

    This is no longer an issue.

Recommendation:

  • If your radios are pre the above build codes (displayed on the radios product label) Admin Support will arrange replacement case assemblies for the affected radios free of charge.

  • Please email Admin Support with the affected radios model and serial number requesting a replacement case assembly.
