R&D is working on a fix that will be applied to the next release. In the meantime, you can use the ‘Tab’ on the keyboard to change the Talk Permit tone setting.
To utilize the Tab key on the keyboard.
At the General Information and Settings, double click the Drop down of Repeater mode power save (marked in screenshot). First click should expand the drop down and second click should collapse.
Press Tab key and then press Up key. Although it is hidden, Talk Permit tone is enabled.
Write the configurations to the radio as usual.
