Creating Startup Logo on DX/DT (using MS Paint)
Step 1: Open Microsoft Paint
Press
Win + R
, type mspaint, and hit Enter.Alternatively, search for Paint in the Windows Start menu.
Step 2: Open Your Image
Click File > Open and select the image you want to resize.
Step 3: Resize the Image
Click on Resize and Skew (or press
Ctrl + W
).In the Resize section:
Select Pixels instead of Percentage.
Set Horizontal to 128.
Set Vertical to 64.
Uncheck Maintain Aspect Ratio (only if necessary).
Click OK to apply the changes.
Step 4: Fill the Image with Black
Step 4.1: Select the Fill Tool
Click on the Fill with Color tool (bucket icon) from the Tools section.
Step 4.2: Choose Black Color
In the Colors section, click on Color 1 (this is your primary color).
Select Black from the color palette.
Step 4.3: Apply the Fill
Click anywhere on the image to fill it completely with black.
Step 5: Add White Text
Click on the Text Tool (the "A" icon) from the Tools section.
Click anywhere on the image to create a text box.
In the top toolbar:
Select Color 1 and set it to White.
Choose a font and adjust the size as needed.
Type your text and position it where you want.
Click outside the text box to finalize it.
Step 6: Save the Image as Monochrome BMP
Click File > Save As.
Choose BMP Picture (.bmp, .dib).
Select "Monochrome Bitmap" in the "Save as type" dropdown.
Choose a location and enter a file name.
Click Save.
Note: Greater than 50% WHITE Pixels are not permitted on the radio.
