DN: Disconnected after changing password
DN495 user name and password in T.Commander
The ‘Default’ user ‘Name’ and ‘Password’ for a DN495 or Gateway must be set as the ‘serial number’ of the device.
E.G. In the example shown, DPCA09155 is the Name and Password (passwords are always shown as ******). Please note this is case sensitive when entering the letters.
Still disconnected after changing the password back?
If the username or password was temporarily changed from ‘default’ but is now correct, and the radio will not connect, then it is likely that the device has become ‘suspended’ (blocked) This is because the radio repeatedly attempts to login to the server, and therefore quickly exceeds the limit for too many failed login attempts. If this has occurred, please check the ‘Blocked Clients' list (BCL) for the device that is not connecting.
Blocked Clients List
The Blocked Clients list is found under 'Settings/‘Tools’ in T.Commander.
If your device is listed, click the box to select it, and then click the ‘padlock’ symbol in the toolbar to clear it from the blocked list. The radio should now be able to login successfully to the server. (if not, and it re-appears in the BCL, check the username and password is correct)
