Entel battery fails to authenticate

If your genuine Entel battery fails to authenticate please try:

  • Another battery on the radio and the battery on another radio of same model type (to identify if its the battery or the radio at fault).

  • Carefully cleaning the battery and and radio contacts and try again.

If this does not address the issue please advise:

  • What is the model & serial number of the radio used?

  • What is the radios firmware version?

  • What is the model & serial number of the battery used?

  • What was the temperature of the room/environment?

  • Was the battery taken straight off the charger before it failed to authenticate?
