DX & DT Emergency revert channel programming guide
Emergency Revert Channel is a feature designed to ensure effective communication during emergency situations. When a DMR radio enters emergency mode, it may automatically switch to a predefined frequency or channel known as the Emergency Revert Channel. This channel is typically a dedicated and prioritized frequency reserved for emergency communications.
FW minimum requirement: 2.4.17
Programmer (EDP) minimum requirement: 1.0.3.88
Create Emergency System
Go to menu Pool > Emergency pool
Click Add Emergency and edit the desired Emergency parameters
Create Emergency Revert Channel
From the programmer, go to menu Pool > Channel Pool
Click Add Digital and edit the desired RF parameters.
When finish, assign the selected channel to selected zone.
Allocate Emergency System to Zone
Go to menu Pool > Zones
At Emergency tab, select the Emergency system and click Add. The selected Emergency system should move to the right section (“Allocated to this zone”)
To enable Emergency revert channel, scroll down and select the Emergency channel on the RF Channel in Zone Editor.
Add Emergency System to channel preset
Go to Channel Preset Data on each radio configuration
Double click and select the Emergency System.
A digital Emergency System can also be assigned to Analogue preset.
In order to use digital Emergency system in Analogue preset, two conditions must be met
Emergency RF Channel is not default
Emergency TX Contact is not default
