Programming Predefined Text Messaging
Predefined Text or Quick Text Messages are common messages that are sent repeatedly and stored in the radio. This allows user avoid retyping the content and to send standard messages swiftly, enabling efficient communication in various scenarios.
A maximum of 40 messages can be stored. Each messages can have up to 48 characters.
This feature is supported in Display and Digital mode only.
The Home Screen of the radio must be set to Simple UI or Advanced UI
This guide provides step by step on how to program predefined messages to Entel radio using Entel Digital Programmer (EDP).
Add Predefined messages
Go to Pool > Message Editor
You can create new predefined messages or edit existing ones.
Assign Predefined messages to each radio.
Go to General Information and Settings on each radio configuration.
Double click and select the desire Predefined messages
Send Predefined message
At home screen, press Soft Key Right (SKR). List of Predefined messages is displayed.
Using Up and Down navigation buttons to select the message you want to send.
Press SKR to go to Contact screen.
Use Up and Down navigation buttons to choose the desired recipient.
Press SKR to transmit the message to the selected recipient.
Sent Confirmation is displayed.
