Battery Validation - Known issues

DT8xxFF radios produced prior to 2020

Some DT radios, produced prior to 2020, do not support battery validation and if firmware version 1.4.150 (or higher) is applied, the radios will reject the battery and no longer function.

Affected models:

  • DT885FF with serial number prefix DPBR and a Mechanical Code M00 to M03

  • DT844FF with serial number prefix DPBP and a Mechanical Code M00 to M03
