DN: Manual PoC Server Configuration

NOTE: THESE SETTINGS WILL OVER-RIDE OTA SERVER PROVISIONING.

On the DN4xx radio, goto settings/WiFi and make sure WiFi is enabled.
Then select WIFI/ADVANCED SETUP. You will see this screen. The DN radio is now acting as a WiFi ‘hotspot’ with an SSID in the format DN-DPxxxxxx corresponding to the serial number of the radio. (do not press any other buttons on the DN radio at this stage)

Now, Using your smartphone or tablet – go to the WiFi network settings and connect to the DN WiFi hotspot. (there is no password)

When connected, your web browser will automatically launch with the page shown below if using an IOS device, or with Android, click on the ‘tap here to sign into network’ link. (for older Android devices open your web browser and type ‘192.168.43.1’ into the address bar and go to this address)

Click 3. POC setup and you will now be presented with the following page:

Here you can enter the user credentials according to your server account. there are Four basic fields of information as follows:

  • User Name

  • Password

  • Server address

  • Port Number

Click ‘Apply’. (this will return you to the previous menu)
Finally, Click ‘DONE’ at the bottom of the menu page.
The DN radio will now restart and connect to the server with the credentials just entered.


Note: These settings will over-ride the PoC credentials as provisioned by Entel. To revert to OTA server and user provisioning, repeat the above process and clear (blank) all four fields before clicking apply/done.
