DT Battery dead

Issue:

A DT radios battery does not power the radio on even after re-charging.

  • A ‘good’ battery works on the radio.

  • The ‘bad’ battery does not work on another radio.

Cause:

The batteries protection fuse has blown.

This is due to the radio being left switched on whilst the battery / radio has been put on charge.

Remedy:

Replace the battery.

As per the user guide, ensure the radio is switched of when charging.
